The news has broken via the Oculus webpage that Valves very own Michael Abrash has put Valve behind him as he continues on as Chief Scientist for Oculus. Michael is confident that since Facebook has purchased Oculus for 2 billion dollars, there is a very promising future for the virtual reality focused company.

Michael is not the first to move on from Valve to focus on the Oculus project. Both Atman Binstock, a lead engineer for Valve is now working as Chief Architect at Oculus, and Tom Forsynth who worked in the VR department for Valve left to work for Oculus in 2013.

What does all of this mean for Valve? Do you think all of these losses that Valve has been experiencing is going to slow down the gaming powerhouse?

Below you will find a video of Michael Abrash discussing VR possibilities.
